Teen Khuraldai
Our mission is to equip Mongolian high school students (ages 15–18) with the knowledge of environmental and sustainable development while fostering their heritage, and digital skills, social responsibility, empowering them to become engaged and environmentally conscious citizens.
What is Teen Khuraldai?
Teen Khuraldai is a national conference where high school students from 21 provinces gather in Ulaanbaatar for 4 days, divided into nine ancient Mongolian tribes. They propose innovative solutions for preserving national heritage and addressing key issues, with each tribe presenting its ideas. The best solution is then unified and recorded in the TUNHAG BICHIG.
Application requirement
1. Must be a high school student aged 15-18 from Ulaanbaatar or any of Mongolia’s 21 provinces.
2. Must have a strong interest in enhancing knowledge and skills related to environmental issues, sustainable development, youth participation in decision-making, and governance principles.
3. Must be available to travel to Ulaanbaatar and participate in the conference on the scheduled dates.
How to apply?
The Teen Khuraldai is held in late November each year, and the application process opens in October-November. Simply submit your application via the link on the program website and you will receive an email confirming your eligibility.
